Just a little more on the plate...
Nov. 26th, 2007 11:12 pmAnother client came up with a short item I'll do by the end of the day tomorrow, and the 4400 words I had to do for the day have been done since shortly after 6 pm. What's left to do in that job are three rather wordy "figures" (tables, really) and the obligatory final review. If Shiloh's behavior runs true to form, she'll have me up somewhere around 6 am, which ought to give me enough time to take care of those details.
I had an interesting conversation with the lawyer handling the estate business. It turns out my dad being a private kind of person is not working in favor of quickly resolving the probate issue, but there's still some folders to go through that might yield some valuable information. One thing is for sure, though, the old man loved reference books and used them often. There's a couple of dictionaries around here that are kept together with thread and good intentions.
Maybe that's where I got used to the idea of looking stuff up (though in my case, I always seemed to get sidetracked in the course of a lookup).
Time to hit the sack.
Cheers...
