...and then the Word was changed.

Today was supposed to be a "standby" day for me, which generally speaking amounts to a rare day off, but Victor called a little while ago and asked me to be ready to support operations at 92A-50 starting at 2 pm. It's not clear what, exactly, I'll be doing, but at least he didn't tell me to dust off the hat and sunscreen.

I am on my best client's mailing list for alerts, and so it is I have learned of a tropical storm/hurricane warning for the Houston area. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for all the folks I know down there.

Cheers...

(The Fili, that is.)

The campaign is rapidly getting back on track, with encapsulation slated to occur tomorrow, followed by a slate of other work to be done by the time the rocket rolls out for upper stage prop loading, which is scheduled for the 13th and 14th.

I'm the morning interpreter tomorrow, except that my day is supposed to start at 5:50 am, so I better get some shuteye.

Cheers...
