Another travel day...

I finished the first pass through the four files last night, and then despeckled them this morning. The client had some comments to make about last week's files, but it turns out that the scope of the comments was pretty narrow; heck, one of the files from last week escaped unscathed. :^)

This promises to be a pretty intense week, so I better make use of the few hours of remaining leisure (between packing and all).

Moreover, I probably ought to get off the Internet, as my call reception is spotty when my BlackBerry is being used in tether mode, and the end client has promised to call me sometime today to coordinate what he wants me to do before the meeting starts tomorrow.

5000!

I happened to be looking at my profile the other day, and noticed that the post counter was a few short of 5000, and while posting a 5000th message really doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, I cannot help but note the fact.

The flight to Dulles got in about 30 minutes early, and once I got my bag I skipped getting a rental car and took a cab to the hotel, because the client was waiting for me to arrive and start work on reviewing presentations that will be given tomorrow, and for some reason, I assumed the meeting would be held at the hotel (it isn't).

In any event, the night-before review exercise just broke up a few minutes ago. Now I need to get some sleep, because the meeting starts at 8 am tomorrow, with everyone showing up at 7:15 or so to chow down on breakfast at the meeting site. I personally hope to avoid being bleary-eyed while interpreting tomorrow.

I also hope that this work-in-the-evenings-until-nearly-midnight cycle of PowerPoint file reviews doesn't continue, but I'm not going to hold my breath. It seems to be par for the course (based on previous experience).
