I like the sound of those two words!

They day went smoothly, from getting down to actually packing this morning (I culled stuff last night while watching NCIS), to getting to the airport, and so on, all the way through to having to wait only 10 minutes for the LIRR train to Oyster Bay.

JetBlue has apparently opened their new terminal at JFK, which extends around and behind the old TWA terminal that was designed by Eero Saarinen. Times sure have changed since 1962, when that terminal was dedicated. The public was invited to come and just walk around the place, and my stepdad was impressed enough with the picture in the paper to have us do just that; I remember I was pretty impressed the first time I saw it. In any event, the new JetBlue facility is spiffy, yet emotionally cold as only an airport terminal can be these days.

Time to relax. If the lease on the New York house goes through, Galina and I will be very busy over the next few days.

Cheers...
