Slogging through Saturday...

The day's plan seemed simple enough: the kids would drop off the grandkids and go shopping, then come back and pick the grandkids back up.

I can't put my finger on exactly why or how, but the grandkids managed to knock me for a loop, leaving me sluggish and - near the end of the day - pretty quiet. Two attempts to take 20-minute "power naps" were interrupted, so there was no salvation from that direction.

It's almost 8:30 pm and I think I'm going to go to sleep now that the little ones have been "returned" to parental custody.
