One down, three to go...
Jan. 12th, 2009 09:06 pmI managed to drop below 15,000 source words left to do for the job due Friday morning, and I hope it gets easier tomorrow and onward, because it was far from easy today.
Then again, there was an urgent request to do about 500 words from a good client, which added to the pile on my plate. And doubtless there will be additional distracting demands on my time between now and the deadline.
Ah, well...
I've managed to avoid getting sacked from the LJ Idol competition this past week, which puts me in the top 65 of 195 contestants who have participated. My original goals for participating - learning something new and meeting interesting people - continue to be met. (Which reminds me... this week's entry will be one of those aforementioned demands on my time, unless I compose most of it in my sleep.)
Apropos of which, it's been a long day, and I should probably sit and stare at a wall for a while and unwind.
