Still we let our business slide...
Jul. 19th, 2009 09:15 pmI guess that on some subconscious level, I must have realized I had some time left to complete the science fiction assignment today, but last night's realization - that I had a full day of activities planned today and had work left undone - sort of bummed me out.
Still, I awoke at 6:30 am and dispatched the balance of the work by 10 am, which cleared the deck for fun and games.
And a little work.
Drew and Shannon and the grandkids and one of Huntur's friends came over with Phil, and later Emily and their young son, and while lunch was cooking, Drew and Phil dragged our "new" fridge from the garage up to the kitchen, where I assembled the beast.
Lunch was enjoyed by all, and then everyone left, except for Mathew, who wanted to stay with grandma and 'paw-paw' (as he calls me) for a while.
It was an exhausting day, but exhausting in a good way.
I have three invoices to write, so I better get to it. More later, maybe.
Cheers...
