Tired all day...
Aug. 30th, 2009 09:20 pmWe made pancakes for breakfast, which is a rare treat around these parts, and Drew came by around 9 am to pick up the grandkids. I have to tell you, by the time they all left, I was ready to go back to sleep!
It was like that all day long, too. I'd do a little work, and then lie down for a while. Took a nap, too.
Galina and I did drive around a little, initially to go buy another 40-lb bag of dry dog food for Shiloh, but the feed store that stocks it was closed, so we drove downtown to walk around and then out to my mushroom "Lima" site to check on the status quo, which continued to be dry and unproductive.
Along the way, we ran across a yard sale where we found out that a local woman is organizing a dog training class on an interim basis in an attempt to bootstrap a dog training and care business, and that the class will meet for the first time tomorrow. I just might take Shiloh along and visit.
With all the resting and napping, the day sort of whooshed by. Galina and I just finished watching something called "The Human Family Tree" on the National Geographic Channel, and I found it pretty interesting and informative.
I'm yawning, and I don't quite understand why, as there is no good reason for me to feel sleepy, but I don't plan on losing any sleep over it, believe me. ;^)
Cheers...
