It's always something...
Nov. 27th, 2009 03:06 pmI recall looking directly at my wireless router as I powered it down at the house in Texas, completely oblivious to the fact that I'd need it at the house in Colorado, so yesterday's limited connectivity came via my cell phone.
Fortunately, the local Radio Shack affiliate was participating in "Black Friday" (opening at 5:30 am, if you can believe that), so I stopped in shortly before 8 am and picked up a NETGEAR router for about $35 and a couple of other baubles.
It took me the rest of the morning, on and off, to get the router up and running, but that finally happened somewhere short of noon.
There was a threat of imminent visits by grandchildren, so I hunkered down and took a preemptive nap in preparation for the visit. Natalie has been over at the kids' place for the past few hours getting softened up.
Cheers...
