A weekend (almost) without a computer...

Except for checking mail and posting on LJ, the computer has been off today and yesterday. I can't say I feel any better for it, but at least my eyes seem not to be plotting mayhem and sedition.

We had the kids over for an early dinner, mostly because tomorrow is the first day of school for Huntür. I noted that in Russia, kids bring flowers to school on the first day of school; Shannon told me basically the same thing happens around here, except in May (at the end of the school year).

I've pretty much emptied out the back room of the bedroom/sitting-room combo in the basement, and I've taken most of the extra books out of the front room. We may have company soon.

Galina is watching the Emmys. I may just take the opportunity to look at some stamps.
