Oh, but I am tired...

A 1,000-word job came in late last night, and I did it this morning as a warm-up for the rest of the day, which was devoted to The Big Edit™.

I planned to be finished with the latest slug of editing by the end of today, and I am, leaving only a despeckle (nothing major, for the scope of work I've performed) for tomorrow morning. There are two batches left in this job, and The Plate is otherwise empty.

I missed the "season finale" of Covert Affairs last night, which is probably just as well, as I am a bit overdosed on such episodes lately. The other night, I got a double dose during episodes of The Closer and Rizzoli & Isles, and about a week before that, Burn Notice put a bullet through its hero's chest before signing off until November. I don't really watch any of these shows on a regular basis, so I guess it's just that I don't like cliffhangers all that much.

I've been at the computer too long today. I'm running on empty, and a whole lot of inertia.
