Just coming up for air...
Oct. 18th, 2010 07:24 pmThe day started slowly, with there being no work in the inbox upon arising.
I spent some time arranging notes for my presentation at the ATA Conference, which starts in about 10 days. (Tweets about the conference apparently sport the tag #ata51; the '51' is there because it's the 51st annual conference and 'ata' by itself is apparently in use.)
Then I got involved in some home improvements, which ate a bunch of time.
Work started to arrive in the middle of the afternoon, and then more work arrived, and just now, as I started to tap out this post, yet more work arrived. (I've no complaints, mind you.)
I expect to go into crunch mode on my presentation on Wednesday, though I suppose I could delay that by a day or two.
Feht reports that there's some kind of crud going around, resembling stomach flu. I'm feeling just the slightest twinge of something; hopefully, it's nothing, but I'm going to go upstairs and dose myself with some C, just in case.
