Trek to New York, Day 2

It has been a long day behind the wheel, made longer (in a perverse way) by the fact that I got under way late, the result of sleeping until I woke. Normally, this is not a problem, as I usually wake up under my own steam at around 6 or 6:30 in the morning, but this morning, I opened my eyes at nearly 8:45 am.

A quick Internet search while waiting to pay for my drive-through breakfast this morning revealed that I was 1500.15 miles (go figure) from my destination. Right now, that figure stands at a hair under 786 miles. So tomorrow will be pretty much like today, plus 70 miles.

I should get some sleep.
