Some more work came in today, but only a bit. This gave me the opportunity of going outside and doing more yard work.

The area I blew clear of leaves a couple of days ago now looks as if I hadn't touched it at all, which makes me question the wisdom of the current endeavor. I suppose, however, that if I wait until all the leaves fall, the magnitude of the job may just intimidate me to some critical extent. I managed to clear away the leaves that had accumulated on the driveway, too, but new leaves have landed to take the place of their forcibly evicted comrades.

I had the Kooksoondang "draft maccoli" with dinner, and my first impression was not entirely favorable, until I realized I was comparing the beverage to Japanese sake, which it resembles not at all, which makes the comparison a bit unfair. In the end, I managed to get most of the bottle decanted (leaving most of the yeast inside), and as long as I kept in mind that this was something new, I sort of got to the point where it wasn't all that bad. However, in my opinion, it wasn't necessarily good enough for me to seek it out, either, unless I find myself in, um, a suitable gustatory environment.

Cheers...
