Glimmers of work...

Work came in late in the day, which was a good thing, because the 1:30 pm showing was followed almost immediately by a short-notice 2 pm showing that lasted almost until 3 pm, and I had already inhaled had my daily limit of coffee even before quitting the house with Shiloh in the Ford.

* * *Remarkably, I still remembered the lines from Cyrano this morning, except for part of a line that I did a poor job of "illustrating" with mnemonic tips, recalling a woman named Doris instead of Donna (as a clue for "donneur"), the direct result of confusing Doris Day (The Man Who Knew Too Much) for Donna Reed (It's a Wonderful Life).

FWIW, I just nailed those movie associations into my brain, to help me distinguish the two actresses, if need be, in the future.
