Taking care of business...
Feb. 10th, 2012 11:21 pmOne of the prongs on the ZAGGsparq 2.0 that I picked up at the ATA conference in Boston last October detached from the unit, which frankly I've been very careful about plugging into and removing from receptacles for precisely the reason that the prongs—which pivot out of the way when the unit is not plugged into mains power—look awfully vulnerable.
The unit has been pretty useful, fulfilling the function of an external battery pack that can recharge one or two USB devices at the same time, although based on my experience, I doubt I can bring an iPhone to full power more than twice from a topped-off ZAGGsparq. In the end, a phone call to ZAGG put the machinery in motion to replace the unit, and I have 60 days to return the defective unit, else the unit that will be sent today as a replacement becomes a purchase.
Work was work, although without the pressure of an imminent deadline, I find I don't quite get as much done as I would like. I'm sure there's something I can do to change that—turning the task into a game often works—and maybe this weekend I'll work on that.
Cheers...
