Shutting down, for now...

The job due Monday morning has been sent, and the job promised for delivery yesterday has yet to arrive. As long as it arrives by the end of the day today, I ought to be able to get it out the door by the time the movers show up tomorrow morning.

The cable company's office in Roslyn closes at 5 pm today and is not open tomorrow. I want to make sure we get all of their hardware returned, to avoid outrageous charges (Cablevision in Houston is pursuing this course, apparently), so as soon as Galina gets off her current Skype call to her sister in Moscow, I'll be turning off and disconnecting the modem.

Connectivity will remain only a Personal Hotspot away, however, so it's not as if the hiatus will be for long.
