The "little" items that had accumulated yesterday packed some surprising punch in the "eat time" department, so it was nearly 10:30 am before I got back to the job due tomorrow.

Fortunately, I managed to make short work of what was left, after which I had to go back and do a real careful despeckle that included creating a number of tables that I just didn't trust OCR to get right (among other things, I don't know how to tell FineReader to stop trying to specify row heights in tables, which would have been the least of my problems.

About halfway through my review, I took an hour and a half to go to the shelter and apply what I've learned about clicker training (in addition to what I've been applying with Shiloh). I don't know what it is about the activity, but I come away from the experience pretty rested and refreshed.

Once back, I got back in front of the computer screen, pausing only for dinner with Galina. Then it was back to work again.

Anyway, as of a few minutes ago, I've pretty much despeckled my part of the job.

Tomorrow morning, I will have to tack on the half of the document that was translated by another translator, make sure our terminology matches (I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this), and then apply uniform formatting to the whole shebang (I've actually already created a bunch of Quick Styles for my part). After that, the job goes out the wire and life can get back to what passes for normal in these parts.

For that, I'll need to get a good night's sleep, so I better get to it.

Cheers...
