Not too shabby...
Jul. 21st, 2012 08:47 pmToday got off to one of those starts that made me rather pessimistic of achieving my rather modest goal of 2,000 words translated. I secretly hoped to get 3,000 words past my fingertips, maybe a little more.
Well, by 5 pm, I had completed just over 3,000 words of what has become the Most Recent Long Haul™, leaving me with about 6,500 words in the current slug and another 7,000 or so words in the next slug, so I went upstairs and had a light dinner with an equally light heart.
Then Galina and I watched another two episodes of Doc Martin, a British series starring Martin Clunes, after which I went back downstairs and translated an even 1,000 words from another project that's going to come due in a few days.
Somewhere between all the translation, I'm going to have to find time to do some invoicing.
Maybe relax a little, too.
