Burning questions...

When one of the segments I'm translating came up as Что делать (with no question mark), the first thing that came to mind was the title of books by at least two famous Russians (Chernyshevsky and Lenin), which led me to consider an anecdote I once heard about the three archetypical Russian books: Что делать? (with a question mark, generally translated at What Is To Be Done?), Кого винить? (Who Is To Blame?), and one other, whose name escapes me.

I'm not even sure the anecdote was very funny.

Anyway, it took me a while to bring my attention back to the translation (which I rendered as "What to do," as the title is not phrased as a question), at which point I figured I'd worked hard enough today, even if I didn't get as far as I did yesterday.

The kids and grandkids came over for lunch. The occasion, informally, was Huntür's departure for her summer camp. It was a time well spent.
