Out the door!
Aug. 22nd, 2012 05:11 pmThe item I've been working on—typically magnified 150% to be able to read ordinary text and sometimes 300% to guess at what the really teeny-tiny text says—is out the door. One of the pleasant aspects of the job had to do with the fact that I was able to find almost all of the absolutely-off-the-wall number of abbreviations in the document, thanks of course to the Web (and to the fact that the company in question is, um, "well-represented" there).
Time to go put the boneless leg of lamb into the oven. (I had bought it last Saturday from the folks at "Grass Roots," a local purveyor of, if not organic, than at least hormone- and antibiotic-free meat.)
With the assignment gone, I feel about ten pounds lighter.
Cheers...
