Slo-mo...

My attention was fully engaged for what turns out to be most of the day addressing a file that contained a graphic of unknown provenance that was easy enough to edit the labels of, but which also had a tendency to spontaneously "resize" itself to the full vertical size of the page I was working with.

So in the end, it was something like 2:30 pm before my head came up from my work.

Then I took a nap.

It's been that kind of day.

Galina made a marvelous batch of leek soup, which is at least one-third gone now.

Have I mentioned it's been that kind of day?

In other news, I am closing in on what is for me the logical approach to vetting noun declensions in Russian. It's too early to declare victory yet, but I feel a sense of progress.
