More of the same, squared and cubed...
Jan. 9th, 2013 09:44 pmIf yesterday was a good day for amphibians, then today, those amphibians that were out in the weather probably drowned.
It was that wet.
Fortunately, we live not far from Galveston Bay, which may be a less-than-optimum location when it comes to hurricane surges, but simply jim-dandy for avoiding flash flooding. The rain was coming down so hard, the dogs simply refused to leave the shelter of the walkway between the back door and the garage when they went outside in the morning, and again in the afternoon.
Some Routine Stuff™ came in this morning, as expected, and I got most of it done. Then I "turned to" on the chunk of education text that's left and between yesterday and today, got as much done as I did over the weekend. Three more days like this ought to get me to the end of the job, after which I will face a fairly formidable despeckling job. As was the case the last time I did a job like this, my "disambiguation" list has grown rather large. Oh, well...
Yesterday's t'ai chi went well. I was paired with one of the senior students, whose job was to point out places where my form was deficient, and I felt pretty good that this kind of correction was being made. Every step forward is a step forward.
Cheers...
