A rare Friday...
Jan. 25th, 2013 11:36 pmNatalie and I got a slow start to the day, but eventually headed down to The City (San Franscisco), stopping for a while at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge to let her catch a phone call and me walk around a bit. The view really is spectacular.
We got back in time to pick up the pork tenderloin that had been slow-cooking since the morning and head on over to Natalie's friends for dinner, which proceeded very well. The post-dinner talk included a taste of 40-year old scotch (which significantly changed my opinion of the capabilities of that beverage), a toast to Robert Burns (tonight was Burns' night), and a round of a game marketed under the title "Cards Against Humanity."
Points south, tomorrow!
