Headache junction...
Jan. 29th, 2013 10:29 amThe California excursion made it clear that my attempt to move my work from the office work machine to the new ASUS fell short in a few particulars, but not in any serious way.
However, this morning's attempt to reconcile the two machines—to move the few additions and changes made during my visit back to the office machine—has somehow gone awry in unexpected ways, mostly due to path problems. It's certainly fixable, but then again, work is picking back up, as if on cue (to wit, a rather large job just landed in my inbox), and between that and the various other slings and arrows one must deal with upon returning home from time spent away, there's not a whole lot of time for that kind of stuff.
The "state of the plate" is not critical, but I have three jobs that should be addressd ASARA (As Soon As Reasonably Achievable—derived from the acronym ALARA ("As Low As...") that is used in the nuclear industry—and which sounds more reasonable, in most circumstances, than ASAP, but I digress...).
No time to waste... back to the face!
