First day in the "new" office...

Well, today's inbox did not produce the onslaught of new work that an office-in-the-state-of-being-moved could be expected to produce, but then again, perhaps this is Murphy playing mind games.

Some work did come in, and I was finally able to accept a job from a client that has been bombarding me (unsuccessfully) with requests to take on what appears to be a steady stream of rush jobs (e.g., "How much of the attached file can you translate by 4 pm today?"). The work in question has about a week's lead time, which may or may not goad Murphy into crying "Havoc!" and unleashing the marmots of translation.
