One of these days, I shall have to do a thorough cataloging of the various books I've been reading. The latest was 4:50 from Paddington, one of Agatha Christie's mysteries featuring Miss Marple (although saying so sort of stresses the meaning of "featuring," as Marple's participation in the proceedings seemed minimal). In checking the precise title of the book, I was informed that the French title of this book is Le Train de 16h 50 (The 16:50 Train). For some reason, lately Google thinks I want to read things in French. Poor Google.

It was another day during which the greatest distance achieved from my office was the curb out front this morning, where I deposited our refuse for pickup. My tooth seems to have settled down, but I still require painkiller. That said, I don't suppose I could have developed any kind of dependence on the combination of Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen, could I?

Translation continued apace. The collection of various invoice documents weighed in at over 5,000 words when I delivered it early this afternoon. There followed a rework of a document in which, I was informed, changes were shown "in blue," except that the new changes appeared to have been done using the same shade of blue as the previous changes. I muttered a short prayer to Providence to give thanks for Word's "compare documents" feature, flawed as it may be.

There are still two items on the plate, which interfere with my joining Galina in the search for a new (in the sense of "another") car. Le sigh.
