One of those strange days...

It was one of those days during which you go, go, go all day long and then, as you ease into the glide path toward the end of the day, you notice that it's only half past one.

I started reading Laurie King's The Beekeeper's Apprentice, and am absolutely captivated. I think there is something more at work here than just my usual fascination for things Holmesian; I just have to figure out what it is.

The late afternoon was taken up with a drive that turned into a shopping trip for food. I dare say we are well-provisioned for the week.
