Getting 'r done!
Jun. 15th, 2015 09:16 pmDespeckling a 12,000 word job is a small job in itself, but I got that and one other job out the wire by about 1 pm, which is when Galina took off for the airport to pick up her sister, who arrived courtesy of Lufthansa at IAH.
On my end, after a short nap, I got myself ready to bicycle to my tai chi class, and chose just the right time to avoid some vanguard clouds that have been scudding over the area in advance of the approaching tropical depression (which the weather dweebs assure me will be a named storm by landfall sometime late tnoight or early morning tomorrow).
Tai chi went well, and I was fortunate enough to get a ride from one of the other students, so I didn't arrive home all late and hot and sweaty.
Everyone is tired and ready to go to sleep.
G'night!
