Mood improved...
Oct. 3rd, 2015 11:11 pmI was a little late "migrating" tasks in my BulletJournal, but I did that today and created a modest to-do list for the weekend. I've already taken care of some of them, so there is progress to be seen.
Our New York tenant has informed us that he's leaving at the end of the month. This is not particularly good news, but I'm sure Galina and I will find a corresponding silver lining over the next couple of days.
I was surprised to find that my incisions were apparently sealed with some kind of silicon compound (almost as if I was a leaky bathtub). I was also pleasantly surprised to find that a Statlock clip that had been adhered to my thigh (to hold the catheter in place) lived up to the claim that it would not come off by itself for at least 10 days. (And may I be forgiven for thinking—if perhaps momentarily—that the instruction to "REMOVE with ALCOHOL" meant it I should drink some vodka while removing the Statlock.)
Something on my Linux copy of emacs decided to rearrange my .emacs file, causing me to waste time to track down why certain things had ceased to work as expected. I think I caught all the glitches, and plan to operate the Linux and Windows versions in parallel over the next couple of weeks to make sure I get the same results all down the line.
Time to sleep. Big day tomorrow.
Cheers...
