It occurs to me...
Jan. 12th, 2016 05:04 pmPeople—myself included, to a certain extent—have a tendency to spend time focused on the past or the future because the present is just too tumultuous in terms of all the things (a) that are actually vying for our attention, (b) that we think are doing so, and (c) that pop up, seemingly out of nowhere, to distract us.
Which is really a hoot, considering the only thing we really have a chance of controlling is what we focus on in the present and how we choose to react to it.
And now, it's back to the face of the mine for me!...
