Success is measured in strange ways...

I must admit I developed something of an attitude concerning my inability to find a set of photographs from July 2007, taken by Natalie and Kyle shortly after they first met, and to find a second set of photographs from May 2015, taken here in Seabrook, featuring the happy couple (with Natalie making sure her engagement ring was in the frame). Fortunately, only the animals were around to see my attitude on display, and they pretty much ignored me. Good on them.

That said, how it turned out that I managed to find both sets of photographs today is a complete mystery to me.

Well, maybe not exactly "complete."

I found the former set on my mostly unused Windows Home Server, and now that those photos have been found, the machine goes back into hibernation.

The latter set? It was sitting there, in front of my nose. And I have no idea how I found it.

Well, maybe not exactly "no," but close enough to make an explanation sound... stupid.

In other news, I managed to edit 7,000 words of the item due Wednesday noon. Indeed, I managed to accomplish pretty much all the important stuff I had listed for the day in my BulletJournal.

Tomorrow's going to be a big day! More editing!
