Wha' happen?
May. 17th, 2016 10:22 pmI really should have anticipated the course of the day.
First off, Galina is getting set to drive up north, again, so most of the morning was spent loadng the car with that brand of precision that means there is one and only one way in which things can be unloaded.
By the time that was complete, I had less than three hours in which to put a dent in my mountain of work to be done, because of an appointment that freed me up just far enough ahead of 5 pm to not make it worth my while to drive home before departing for taiji.
I made my decadal stop at a Whataburger, and found the fare to be just as vile as during my first two visits ten and twenty years ago. The chain must simply cater to a certain clientele whose dietary... let's call it "preference" is diametrically opposite to mine.
Taiji went well. Upon returning home, I watched the NCIS season finale, with a strange mix of feeling both disappointment and closure. In truth, I suppose DiNozzo's departure could only have been something along the lines of what was scripted.
Big day tomorrow, I can just feel it. And even if it's not, I'll make it a big day!
Cheers...
