Beating back the darkness...

By which I mean, I got up early and despeckled the large job, even though it took me until early afternoon. However, not all of the intervening time was spent working; we all had a marvelous late breakfast with my (imagined) French-style omlettes with mushrooms and onions and waffles slathered with fruit salad, cinammon, and a dash of maple syrup.

Other translation work followed in the afternoon, so I've pretty much drained the swamp down to merely the high-water level. Tomorrow is another day.
