Jul. 26th, 2016 11:25 amI am beginning to live inside of memoQ, which is an application designed to aid translators in their work.
It seems I am always working in it, and despite the fact that I initially had reservations about the software (which might very well have been based on having to change the way I work), between the encouragement I got from
velvet_granat (hey, you still around?) and the fact that it helps me get the work done... what can I say?
The other increasingly valuable app that I own is FineReader, because you know, <sarcasm>nothing says you really want a good translation than to provide the source document in a format that can only be grokked with an eyeball</sarcasm>. People who talk in glowing terms about "editable PDFs" have almost certainly never had to do any extensive editing inside of them.
