A fellow we use often to help out with repairs was kind enough to agree to take a look at a piece of sheet rock that had fallen from the roof of the garage at the new house, so I arrange to be there to meet him, and managed to arrive quite literally behind him.

Inter alia, I managed to borrow his post-hole digger and dug an "impromptu" hole for a new mail box, as the old one was rotted at the bottom, had broken off, and had been leaning up against the side of the house since we found the place empty.

I didn't have all of the tools I needed to complete the job, but I've replaced the "post" on which the mailbox is to sit and I figure I can finish the job tomorrow with not much stress if I get there early enough to avoid having to work in the sun.

That said, all of this was not on my to-do list compiled after early morning coffee.

I did manage to get some translation done, which is good, because stuff is coming due, but my series of early mornings is going to have to continue if I'm to have a prayer of making all my deadlines over the next few days.

So, it's rack drill for me. And the sooner, the better.

Cheers...
