ScanSnap blues...
Mar. 13th, 2017 06:28 pmThe "carrier" sheet that came with my ScanSnap went missing at about the time of our recent move, and as I have need of the silly thing, I decided to check out how much a replacement might cost. Naturally, I hit Amazon to start.
The price for a package of five (apparently, these items are not sold individually) ranges from about $35 to about $50.
Ouch!
What makes these carrier sheets unique is, first, the fact that they are sturdy. Had mine not disappeared into a box, somewhere, it'd still be serviceable. Second, there is a pattern printed on the leading edge of the carrier, which apparently signals the scanner software that it (and not multiple pages stuck together) is passing through the scanner.
I've added the carrier sheet to the list of stuff that would be Very Nice™ to find again.
Cheers...
