Not a fluke...
Apr. 9th, 2017 09:29 pmI had a peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich on Friday, and it tasted fine. I tried one today, and I got the same effect as I did yesterday with the cantaloupe.
I don't know enough about the mechanisms involved, but it's almost as if the taste buds that address "sweet" are on strike, and maybe that background salty taste I'm perceiving is there all he time, but normally overwhelmed by sweetness.
I mightily did not like it when CBS delayed the start of Sunday evening shows last month (notably NCIS: Los Angeles and Elementart) due to "March Madness," and since the basketball championship has been decided, I figured it'd be smooth sailing this weekend.
I was wrong.
The Masters golf tournament went into sudden death to resolve a tie, and it took nearly an hour for the winner to be determined and awarded the green sport coat. So this evening's fare is about an hour late.
Oh, well... it's all good, I suppose.
Cheers...
