Not a typical day...

The insurance people were as good as their word, and a check was delivered this morning by courier.

So we "took the drive" to Lake Jackson, a little over 75 minutes away, to visit the Honda dealership there, as there appeared to be a large number of certified vehicles of the type we were interested in for sale there. After what seemed to be an interminable period of sitting around after we found the car we wanted, we drove home with a "new" car.

Oo-rah!

With any luck, I will return to my regularly scheduled (ha!) life tomorrow.
