One more time...
Dec. 1st, 2017 10:31 pmThe Christmas tree I bought two years ago was unpacked from its box and set up today. I went the extra mile and removed the strings of lights that had come already intertwined with the branches and then "reapplied" them. The result looks better, with lights more evenly distributed.
Getting the tree involved moving about half the boxes in the garage, because (a) holiday stuff tends to be put up and away from things one uses (or not <grin>) over the course of the year, and (b) the tree is only one part of the overall decorating campaign. There are ornaments to consider, and other various knick-knacks (such as about a dozen different kinds and sizes of Saint Nicholas). This means retrieving even more boxes from "back there."
It is absolutely wild to think we're in December already. Time flies.
Cheers...
