Yesterday, I managed to figure out a way to cut out a section of the lawn in the back yard—a section that had been burned out via repeated exposure to dog urine—and replace it with new sod. I'm not exactly sure this is going to help (Shiloh likes neither the feeling that a full bladder provides in the morning, nor dew-wet grass).
Today, I managed to paint a substantial part of what had been (and may yet again be) my office, using a color that Galina picked out of the "Oops!" pile at Lowe's yesterday. I am not particularly thrilled with the color (it dries darker than it looks, which is baby blue), but at least the job is done. Next step: replace the carpet with flooring.
And oh, yeah, I managed to get almost 4,000 words translated.
Cheers...
