Nice catch!
May. 11th, 2015 08:57 pmFor the past few weeks (months?) I've been obsessing about a property tax bill that came due today in New York, and I almost flubbed making the payment. (The upshot of missing the payment would not have been catastrophic, just expensive.)
I don't know how it was that I caught the omission in time, but I did. Hooray for our side.
It was that kind of day, y'know?

Date: 2015-05-13 02:32 pm (UTC)Is that authority like ours: there are two taxpayers in our apartment (my brother and I), both registered at the same actual address, yet the tax bills can either
1. arrive simulatneously;
2. arrive separately;
3. not arrive at all;
4. one may arrive and the other, not.
Which reminds me to check whether we've received and paid them last November. (The above is further complicated by the fact that our mother or father can take those out of the postbox, and pay them, and not tell either of us.) Fun.

There's a lesson for me there, I'm sure. I just need to learn it.
Cheers...
