Every once in a while, the flow of routine work brings me document that can only be described as having been written by someone whose elevator doesn't go to the top floor. Someone playing a few cards short of a full deck. An individual who is a can short of a six-pack.

You get the idea.

Today's document invovled the field of molecular biology and genetics, and made the claim that—nah... you'd never believe me.

The idea was put forth, in a recently translated document, that the mathematical laws governing genetics represent the fruits of a design promulgated by a tremendously advanced ancient civilization.

My medical friends are skeptical.
