alexpgpIt was "back in the saddle" today, with a 4:30 wakeup, whereupon I fed the mutts and took them for a mile-and-a-half walk. It's been way too cold to go bicycling outside, so I was happy to get the exercise in.
The translation effort was pretty light, though I did manage to finish about 2,000 words before Galina and I went out to drive around.
I was surprised to see as many signs for garage sales as there were. We stopped at one, just to scratch the itch.
Later in the afternoon, I assembled a stationary bike that we picked up at the local Academy store, the idea being to remove the weather outside as a factor in getting some calorie-burning exercise. After assembling the unit, I rode the unit for almost half an hour while watching The Tube, and only stopped because Galina suggested I should not overdo it on my first "ride."
Now, if I can figure out how to stream stuff to the main television up here on the second floor—and actually I already know how to do it, what I mean is: how to do it elegantly—I'll be able to get some serious pedaling exercise in without having to worry about it being too hot or too cold, or having my fingers go numb after about 20 minutes.
One thing I did forget to do was go to the post office. Ah, well... I guess that's what they made Monday for.
