Recovering from yesterday...

alexpgpYesterday was, thank goodness, a day with perceptible forward motion on many fronts.
If all parties to conversations fulfilled their promises, my referral to in-network oncological care is done, and I plan to call today for an appointment ASAP.
I continued my "streak" of exercise on the stationary bike (in the morning), followed by taiji (in the evening).
I got some translation done, though not as much as I had hoped. This last ("not as much as I had hoped") has happened several times this week, and I'm not sure whether it's laziness on my part, all of the forces set on distracting my focus, or some clear combination of the two.
Getting up before the crack of dawn without waking Galina is hard enough; doing so with an Airbnb guest in the house is a bit harder. Still, I ought to be able to figure out a way to fill the time and put it to good use.
