One way to avoid sleeping during the day is to find oneself sitting in the car as Galina drives around, taking care of business. That said, a certain toll is taken on one's backside, but all in all, it's worth it.

In all, we left the house for one reason or another three times today. Thus, theoretically, I ought to be tired enough to fall asleep almost immediately.

Let's see how that works out in practice...
