I checked out the .doc file generated by OpenOffice.org 1.0 and found only one small glitch in the translated document, involving table formatting. I was able to fix the problem in Word, but as the problem does not appear in the .sxw file, I have no idea how to go about "fixing" it.

A comment to my previous post from LJer teferi reminds me that I need to go in and seriously tweak the defaults inside of the program (e.g., make Arial the default font).

Drew needs to go to Durango today, so I'll likely be in the store for most of the day. I need to go get ready for it.

I hear there are lots of little bugs and Word incompatibilites in OpenOffice. Possibly more between the spreadsheets. I've been using both in StarOffice 5, but haven't really moved anything to Word or Excel to check it out.
