alexpgpI just got an email from one of the interpreters working the Kazakhstan project! She is an acquaintance whom I have met from time to time, and who will be leaving the day I arrive to go Do Other Things (I'm probably her replacement).
She indicates that there is a (more or less convenient) way to call her on the phone, and her e-mail demonstrates that the Internet is accessible from there.
Boy, do I have a bunch of questions for her!
In other news, I cannot wrap my mind around those last 800 words, but I'll work for another half hour and then turn to a quick cleanup of the place. Tomorrow morning will be reserved for packing and traveling.
