On to something new...
Nov. 19th, 2000 07:25 pmLast night's session was the last night shift for at least a week, and I am happy to say it was rather slow. It was the crew's day for private conferences with family and with the flight surgeons, so almost all available time during Russian VHF ground passes and via the Orbiter communications system that's aboard the station was devoted to private conversations.
Tomorrow, I start working with the folks who generate the daily "execute package," which coordinates the crew's activities for the next day. I'll be doing this for at least a week, and then - with things being the way they are - it's anyone's guess as to what I'll be doing.
I've been doing a lot of cleaning around the new home office. I've packed two large garbage bags full of stuff that I finally got into the mood to throw out. Things are moving along smoothly.
More (maybe) after The X Files, which promises to be interesting.
Cheers...
