A real quiet day at the office...
Jun. 18th, 2004 02:56 pmThis is the last day at the полтинник for me on this campaign, and I'm looking forward to getting out of here. I was not able to finish packing my stuff, mostly because I seem to be running out of space in my luggage.
This is curious, because (a) I extracted some items from my bag in Moscow, which in theory should have created empty space, and (b) except for a small pile of paper (size A4, about 150 of 'em, which isn't packed yet), a bottle of wine given to me as a present, and a paperback book I intend to read on the way back home, I really haven't acquired any stuff while here. Nevertheless, I find myself with too much "stuff" left outside my luggage! (I suspect Galina's efficiency as a packer is a factor here.)
No time to worry about that right now, though.
The word just came down that I'm to be here until 4 pm, so let me wrap up today's work and get out of here.
Cheers...

I'm a roller
Date: 2004-06-18 09:29 am (UTC)I fold shirts in half lengthwise and then lay them down on the floor, usually using a pair of trousers as a base. Onebag.com (http://www.oratory.com/onebag/pack.html) has a great intro on bundle wrapping.
